Car glass seals.
Why flock the rubber seals of the lowering glass of the car.?!
Rubber seals for car glass doors are in every car. Depending on the car brand, they have different shapes, lengths and are made of different materials. However, the purpose of the seals is one - to maintain tightness, to prevent the passage of moisture in the middle of your car.
Like all rubber products, the seals become less elastic over time, a microcrack opens on them, the influence of solar ultraviolet on destructive processes contributes to the wear of the seals. In its case, this happens before the use of dirt and sand between the glass and the seal, which disrupts the functionality of the mechanism. The moisture of the external environment is carried out in the middle. Dirt stuck between the glass and the seal will gradually scratch the glass over time, leaving behind many vertical stripes. This is very noticeable if the glass is tinted (tinted film).
To prevent damage to the car glass, flock is applied to the door seals, which removes dirt from the glass.
Usually the sealing bar (marigold) is flocked only from the inside of the glass. This must be done when tinting the car glass.
